First released on CD and Cassette in 1990, this tribute record was intended to broaden the audience for the 13th Floor Elevators leader, and boy did it ever. Fans and friends like Doug Sahm, ZZ Top, The Butthole Surfers, T-Bone Burnett and others put their spin on Roky Erickson classics and a whole new generation was introduced to his work.  Now, for Record Store Day 2017 it's being released on vinyl for the first time, and this special double LP version includes three tracks that were originally only on the cassette.
