This Record Store Day release, in honor of Gail Zappa, reissues this 1969 single; remastered from original mono reels on 7" colored vinyl at 45 rpm in a picture sleeve, each individually numbered. This version is different from the one found on "Weasels Ripped My Flesh." Limited to 5200 copies. As a tribute to his father, Dweezil Zappa named his 1988 solo album after the song and also recorded of cover of it. The song has also been covered by Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson. But like the old saying “often imitated, never duplicated,” there’s nothing like the original that this 45 RPM represents.
