POPS Resale
Opened in 1996 by Dan and Sharon Shorr, POPS Resale is dedicated to bringing to our customers a solid product at a fair price. We have a multitude of vintage products, but by far our largest section is devoted to new and used vinyl. We have LPs, 45s and 78s (along with the occasional 16), averaging on a given day anywhere from 80,000 to 100,000 units on the sales floor. In addition, we have around 200,000 in backstock. We also maintain 3 listening stations so that customers may listen before purchasing. Along with our vinyl, we stock new and used turntables, cartridges, sytli/needles (around 1,000 different styles), belts, and record/turntable accessories and supplies.
Directions: From I-75 (or I-64 east), take the I-75 exit #115 (Newtown Road) towards Lexington. Turn right at New Circle Road. Exit #7 is the Leestown Road exit: turn left at the bottom of the ramp, go around 3/4 mile. On the left, we are between a Subway and a Dollar General. From I-64 west (the Louisville side), take exit #69 (the Midway exit). At the end of the ramp, take a right and then an immediate left. This is Leestown Road (rte 421). Approximately 12 miles later, keep an eye on the left for the Dollar General and the Subway.
