Uptown Record Store has been open in Shanghai, China since the summer of 2011. Uptown’s primary focus is providing the availability of vinyl records to the community with an emphasis on independent music. You will find a wide selection of genres from rock, electronic, disco/funk, soul, hip hop, and everything in between. Another goal of Uptown is creating a space for independent music by hosting events such as free in-store performances and art events.
