RECORD STORE DAY

Since 2003 the Record Store Sydney has focussed exclusively on vinyl, why? Because you can't hug an MP3. Although specialising in hosue, techno and electronica 12"s, we cater to lovers of funk, soul, rock, indie, hiphop, jazz, dub/reggae and scratch/battle records. We have more than 1000 titles in the store at any one time, ranging from new releases - which we get weekly - to re-issues and 2nd hand. We also stock heaps of uncatalogued $10 records: rock, pop dance and hip hop. We strive to ensure that the vinyl is in mint or near mint condition. We also stock turntables, headphones, Styli, needles, cables & assorted doodads.

The entrance to our store is on Goulburn Street about 15 meters down the hill from Crown Street (We are the basement of a corner building). We're a 30 second walk from Oxford Street, so any bus that gets you there, will get you here (Get off at the Palmer Street bus stop on Oxford Street). If you're walking from the CBD, it'll take you less than 10 minutes. From China Town - come straight up Goulburn Street From Town Hall - come through Hyde Park From Central - go north up Elizabeth, bend right up Wentworth and turn into Goulburn From the Eastern Suburbs, well, you'll know how to find us :)
