Record Store Day Pledge signed
Go here to find out about the pledge.

We are a new and used vinyl record shop in downtown Opelika, Alabama, buying/selling/trading records (obviously), CDs, cassettes, turntables, and hi-fi gear. We also carry new turntables, speakers, needles/cartridges, magazines, vinyl accessories, and, for some reason, the State of Alabama allows us to sell cold, cold beers, too. RSD 2019 is our first, and we're trying to do it right and prove that you don't have to drive to the nearest big city to be able to grab copies of whatever limited titles you're looking for. We'll be open 8AM - 7PM on Record Store Day, and here's what you can expect from us on Saturday, April 13th: *_Hundreds of exclusive releases, many in substantial quantities. We ordered A LOT of stuff. *_1st 40 paying customers will take their records home in a new 10,000 Hz tote bag. *_Throughout the day, 10 of you will find coupons for a free 10,000 Hz t-shirt in your shopping bags. *_Somewhere in the shop, we'll be hiding a pair of tix to the Old 280 Boogie at Standard Deluxe out in Waverly TAKING PLACE LATER IN THE DAY ON RSD. *_We'll also be stuffing your bags with stickers, buttons, and coupons from...uh...us...as well as some of our fellow downtown Opelika businesses. We'll have some freebie posters, stickers, and samplers and whatnot from some of the labels we order direct from, too. *_Free Krispy Kreme donuts while you wait in line...hell, beer service for the line, too, if that's the kind of day you're trying to have. It's A-OK to drink a beer on the street in our little downtown at 7AM or whatever. *_Yes, we'll have some of those little 3" turntables and some of the mini-records. Still working on some surprises for you, too. Come hang and check out the new shop on the block, ok?
Directions:We are one block north of the train tracks, and a few hundred feet away from Red Clay Brewing and John Emerald Distilling Co. on 1st Avenue in Opelika's Downtown Historic District. From I-85 in Alabama: Take the AL-51 exit, Exit 60, towards Opelika/Hurtsboro. Keep right to take the ramp to Opelika. Turn right onto Marvyn Pkwy/AL-51, which becomes South 10th Street. After 1.25 miles, take a right onto 1st Avenue. You'll find us on the right after another .25 miles, directly next door to Mama Mocha's Coffee.
