Fat Beats, founded in 1994, in a small basement retail space in Manhattan's Lower East Side started with the sole mission to be a one stop shop for Hip Hop vinyl. From '94 on we expanded to several international and bi-coastal retail locations, from NYC to Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Tokyo & Atlanta as well as a record label, distribution company and retail website. We closed our stores in 2010 to refocus on our distribution and record label businesses but we're excited to announce our RETURN to retail in 2018 with a brand new flag ship store location in Downtown Los Angeles!
