Quonset Hut has been providing music and counter-culture media and gifts since 1969. We've been fluid with what we carry over the years, but we've fully embraced the "vinyl boom" and made sure to surround our thousands of records with music-related patches, buttons, stickers, posters, and a whole lot more to keep the magic of the 60's & 70's hippie-style shop alive! Quonset Hut is essentially a landmark in Canton that people make sure to stop at to get a new record, gift, or one of our many usual items any time they're in the area. Record Store Day is such a natural fit for our store, we love to take part in interactive events with our customers and there's no better way to excite people than with limited records! We would love to be part of the RSD experience and would make sure to bring a positive light to the whole RSD name for our loving customers in our hometown. There's only one location to our store and we have been privately owned since we opened over 50 years ago. We've also partnered up with local music venue The Auricle and local record store Erie Street Vinyl to host a biannual record show called Stark Vinyl Revival at the Auricle in downtown Canton to bring together the local vinyl community even more.

Cleveland Avenue is a major road in Canton, Ohio. Being known as the city with the Pro Football Hall of Fame, we have a yearly parade in late summer right on Cleveland Ave. Quonset Hut is right on the same road as the parade and has been for almost the entire history of the store. We're also on the corner of another major road, 38th street so it's very convenient to swing by even if the parade is blocking some of the street.
