Founded in 2020. We are an independent record store located in SEPDX. We are a vinyl only shop with a focus on mostly independent artists and record labels. Some of the labels we work with include Sub Pop, Merge, Polyvinyl, ATO, Matador Direct (4AD, XL, Beggars, Rough Trade), Polyvinyl, Secretly Distribution, Fat Wreck and more. In February of 2021, our storefront was damaged in Portland’s severe winter storm. After a long and tedious battle with the insurance company and many, many months of hard work, my wife and I finished construction on our new storefront, all the while doing curbside pickup and mail order. As of January 2022 AstronautSaint Records is proudly reopen for in-store shopping. Built by the both of us from start to finish, it was truly a labor of love.
