Good Earth Records
Good Earth Records is an independently owned record shop formerly located in New Orleans and now based in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. We carry new & used vinyl records, CDs, tapes, books, music related films, & more with an emphasis on regional roots music from Louisiana and Mississippi. We are one of only two record shops in between New Orleans and Biloxi along the Gulf Coast and we have been in business since October 2022. Our shop on Main Street is surrounded by lots of plants and flowers with a newly shaded back porch to create that down home beach vibe. We encourage folks to hang out on our tables and chairs outside the shop to enjoy the Bay breeze and listen to music on our outdoor speakers. We are also starting to host free live music shows for the community on our back porch. Good Earth Records is curated by the owner, Doug Page aka DJ Doug Funnie. The selections include but are not limited to local top shelf funk 45s, traditional New Orleans jazz, bare bones blues, folky songwriters from England, dreamy disco records, Rasta roots reggae, French Cajun Zydeco sounds, rare Southern soul, modern underground hip hop, good old rock & roll and much more. Good Earth is always stocked with the finest quality new and used vinyl. It's a one stop shop for all things music in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi!
