Village Green Records
For over 16 years the Village Green Records has been driven by the ideal to educate, challenge, and inspire with music and records! As a “young punk kid”, Travis took small steps to slowly build a humble grassroots business right off Ball State University. In 2022; after becoming a staple of the Muncie community and East Central Indiana, Travis wants to expand and provide the same care and love of music in Montgomery, Alabama. And so they picked up the VGR inventory and made the 10 hour move south to MGM. At the VGR each and every record is handpicked with the intention to provide a surplus of music choices, growing more eclectic every day. We keep up to date with new releases in vinyl, CDs, and DVDs from all genres and at the same time build upon our used vinyl selection with batches of lightly used records. The store may be small, but it provides a large array of music.

From I-85: Cutting through Montgomery on I-85 if heading Eastbound you will want to take Exit 3 to Ann St and turn right heading south on Ann St. Ann St. will become Zelda Rd, and continue for less than a mile til you arrive at the Zelda Place shopping center on the right.
Village Green Records is located in the third building, facing a small courtyard in between Jos. A Bank and the Tutu Ballet School. If heading Westbound on I-85 Take I-85 to Exit 3 Ann St, turn left to head southbound on Ann St. Ann St. will become Zelda Rd, and continue for less than a mile til you arrive at the Zelda Place shopping center on the right.

If traveling from the South of Montgomery: If on Carter Hill Rd turn onto Zelda Rd heading Northbound, after less than a quarter of a mile the Zelda Place shopping market and Publix will be on the left. Turn into the Zelda Place shopping center at or immediately after passing Publix on your left. Village Green Records is located in the first building, facing a small courtyard in between Jos. A Bank and the Tutu Ballet School.
