You’ll find a selection of new and used Vinyl, CD’s and Cassettes with sections dedicated to Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, Alternative, Classic Rock, Electronic and more. Owned and curated by Celeste Outen. Locked Groove Records proudly stands as a black woman-owned record store.
Directions:From I-69 northbound take exit 241 for IN-332 toward Frankton/Muncie. Turn right onto IN-332 E/W McGalliard Rd and continue straight for 7.5 miles. Turn right on Tillotson Ave and continue on for 1.3 miles. Turn left on Riverside Ave. In about half a mile at the next light, take a right onto McKinley Ave and then immediately take the next left onto W Ashland Ave to N Martin St and turn right. Locked Groove Records is located in the green house (converted for business) on the corner of Ashland and Martin in Muncie, IN. Parking is located directly behind the green house. If you see a window with the cover of “Maggot Brain” by Funkadelic inside, you’ve parked in the correct lot. Opened Tuesday - Saturday from Noon to 6PM.
