CD Central
CD Central is Lexington’s oldest and largest independent NEW and USED music store, specializing in indie rock, alternative, R&B, metal, country, jazz, blues, bluegrass, and musical alternatives of all kinds. CD Central has an extensive selection of new, used and collectible LPs and carries turntables and accessories to help you get the most out of your vinyl collection. We also carry new and used DVDs, posters, t-shirts, stereo equipment and much more. CD Central is one of the founding members of the Alliance of Independent Media Stores (AIMS) as well as Lexington’s “buy local” organization, Local First Lexington. We've hosted in-store shows by nationally-known artists as varied as the Black Keys, Charlie Louvin, Heartless Bastards, Bernie Worrell and the Avett Brothers.
