SIREN RECORDS
Since 1988, Siren Records has been the place to go in Bucks County for independent music. Whether it was in the country barn where Siren started out, the small shop in downtown Doylestown where we were located for 16 years, or our new, larger location overlooking Main Street in Doylestown, we have always aimed to be a place where one could come to find hidden gems or new sounds. We carry a wide variety of movies and music from mainstream to independent rock and pop, underground hip-hop, soul, electronica, jazz, world music, roots music, avante garde, metal and country. In addition to CDs, we have a large vinyl selection that is constantly growing. Since our move to our new location, we have been supporting independent music in a new way. We’ve been able to host a staggering amount of concerts. These shows have moved beyond run-of-the-mill in-stores and have taken on a life of their own. Siren has become a venue as well as a store, hosting not only local bands, but great touring bands as well. We have hosted shows by Circa Survive, A Life Once Lost, the Dillinger Escape Plan & the Red Chord just to mention a few. All of the shows at Siren are all ages, so they give kids a chance to discover new bands and see some of their favorite touring bands without having to travel to Philadelphia or New York.
