Extreme Noise Records
Extreme Noise Records is a punk record co-operative serving the punk scene of Minneapolis and the Upper Midwest. Founded in 1994, Extreme Noise's staff is all-volunteer. All proceeds are re-invested into the store and other punk music and community projects.
Directions:
Extreme Noise is located at 407 W Lake Street in Minneapolis. We are located on West Lake Street at Grand Avenue, roughly in between Lyndale Avenue and Nicollet Avenue. From the North Take 35W South. Exit at 35th St./36th St. Turn right (West). Go down to Grand Ave. and turn right (North). Follow Grand Ave. six blocks to Lake Street. Extreme Noise will be on Lake Street to your left, just off the intersection of Lake and Grand. From the South Take 35W North and exit at 31st/Lake St. At the bottom of the ramp go through the first light and turn left at the second (heading west on Lake St.) Extreme Noise is about 6 blocks down on your left, just past the intersection of Lake St. and Grand Avenue. From the West Take Excelsior Blvd or Highway 7 into town until it turns into Lake St. Go through Uptown and past Lyndale Avenue. Once you cross Lyndale, Extreme Noise is just over two blocks down on the right.
