Red Devil Records opened in 1998 in Petaluma and moved to San Rafael (20 minutes north of San Francisco) in 2004, specializing in hard to find vinyl LPs and 45’s, especially Punk Rock, Classic Rock and Jazz. They also stock Reggae, Latin, Blues, Soul, World and more. The store is filled with fun vintage eye candy, from pop kitsch to1950’s pin-up magazines to the rarest records to amazing posters. They also carry CDs (including hard to find imports), DVDs, posters, books, zines, pop culture/music memorabilia and more. They were just included in the new book published in England titled Old Rare New: The Independent Record Shop. The book only listed 90 out of the over 2,000 stores in the U.S., and Red Devil was listed, the only record store they mentioned between San Francisco and Portland.
