More Info:

Trumpet player Caleb Hudson, following a decade-long tenure with Canadian Brass, embarks on a new artistic venture with the release of his debut solo trumpet album, "Nothing Less." This recording represents a significant addition to Hudson's career. We hear him as a composer and arranger, blending the seemingly disparate sounds of violin, cello, flute, clarinet, and trumpet. It is not just a showcase of virtuosity and expansive creativity, but also a collaborative effort that brings together world-class chamber musicians, each a respected soloist in their own right. In addition to compositions by Caleb Hudson, this recording also showcases original compositions by Kyle Athayde and Remy Le Boeuf, complemented by contemporary arrangements of pieces by Philip Glass and Corelli. This blend of new creations and reimagined classics signifies a notable milestone in Hudson's evolving and ongoing musical path.
