More Info:

The Special Goodness was formed by Pat Wilson of Weezer and Atom Willard of Rock from the Crypt back in 1999. LAND AIR SEA is a reissue of a CD self-released by the band in March of 2003, that has been remixed by Joe Barresi (Weezer, Powerman 5000) and features an entirely new package and the track list has been resequenced from the original package.

Reviews:

While Rivers Cuomo was off burnishing his myth in the late '90s, Weezer drummer Pat Wilson used the hiatus to do a little recording of his own. Wilson played guitar and sang on a handful of songs, dubbed the project the Special Goodness, and had a hell of a time finding someone to release it. Now that Weezer have been elevated to the proto-emo pantheon, Wilson's second full-length dose of riff-driven melodic rock was much easier to get on the shelves. Despite vocals that sound like they're coming from the next zip code, the overall effect is likeably Foo Fighterish in a mid- '90s way. In this age of constricted playlists, however, the supernally catchy "N.F.A." wouldn't make it on the radio even if the chorus didn't make clear that the title's an abbreviation for "not f***ing around."
