Digging through the Malaco vaults for the debut album from Freedom, containing hot dance tracks and smoldering ballads.  A prominent bass groove dominates the up-tempo tracks "Dance and Sing Along" and "Get Up and Dance."  As singers and players, Freedom's sweet harmonies prevail on "Summer Memory," "Wake Up Your Mind," "Know You Better," and "You've Just Got to Be the One." "Get Up and Dance" was later redone by Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five as "Freedom," by KRS One as "You Must Learn," and by SWV as "Anything”.  A classic!
