More Info:
Fueled by their chemistry on the road, Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice returned to the studio in 2008 to record The Devil You Know, their first new set of original material since 1992's Dehumanizer. Now they're back as Heaven&Hell, named for the classic '80s LP that was their debut as Black Sabbath.Reviews:
While Ozzy enjoyed mainstream popularity thanks to The Osbournes, the ensuing media ubiquity nudged his music career to obsolescence. In the meantime, Ronnie James Dio rejoined his former Sabbath mates and the configuration was so impressive in limited touring that it spawned a major reevaluation of just which frontman is best for the band, previously unthinkable given Ozzy’s track record. We’ll see how Dio’s fantasy-based operatics work for them in 2009.
