More Info:

Y&T Music is proud to announce the release of Jim Wurster's new studio album, "Transcendental Inclinations". This is Wurster's first studio album since the well-received release, "Life," from 2017. The album showcases Wurster's pure Americana roots, with songs like "Tried and True," "The Sun is Always Blue," and the rollicking title track. Jim Wurster is a decidedly down-to-earth individual. His ties to the realms of Americana music began long before the term became popular, eschewing any notion tied to trendiness or the need to merely ride a wave. He's released seven albums as a solo artist over the years, as well as a couple as a collaboration with his band the Atomic Cowboys. In the process, he's not only won comparisons to the likes of Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, and Townes Van Zandt, but also stellar reviews worldwide, including several from No Depression, one of which raved "He possesses a singular sound but, more important, he continually ventures into new terrain and does so without regard to commercial consequences." Wurster's new album, Transcendental Inclinations, once again proves that point. Co-produced by Mike Vullo and longtime collaborator Bob Wlos - who also mixed and engineered - it features Jim himself on vocals and acoustic guitar and an array of South Florida's top musicians. The vinyl release is a limited edition of 100 copies!
