More Info:

The Stripp are a high-energy, turbo-charged, rock 'n' roll machine storming out of the gates of Melbourne's underground rock scene. Fronted by Bek Taylor, best described as the love child of Joan Jett and Lemmy Kilmister, the band's unique heavy style, captivating live shows and extensive touring has gained them a reputation as one of Australia's finest, high-energy rock n roll bands. With three vinyl releases notched into their belts, including a split 7" with New Jersey action rock veterans Electric Frankenstein released in 2021, The Stripp once again hit the studio in 2022 releasing their full length debut album 'Ain't no crime to rock 'n' roll' which immediately drew further attention to the band Australia wide and internationally. Born of Jason Zeke and Bek Taylor's combined love of raw rock n roll and passion for music, The Stripp unites with like minded musos, Matt Brown on bass and Andy Cass on drums, complementing their driving energetic rock style. 2023 brings renewed momentum to The Stripp with more shows being booked around Australia and a European tour in the works as well as shows already booked supporting The Supersuckers, Stiff Richards and The Neptune Power Federation Over the next few years, The Stripp plan to tour extensively both nationally and overseas with the goal to carve their own niche in the ever growing rock n roll sub-culture.
