EXTENSIVE BOOKLET WITH ORIGINAL BIO AND LYRICS - Chris Couchois, Pat Couchois, Mike Couchois, Howard Messer, Chas Carlson, these five names are worth remembering. The three Couchois brothers and Howard Messer roamed Alabama between '64 and '68 under the name Good Times. Since moving to Los Angeles in '68, they've never stopped persevering, searching for their own style, and growing in the process. They went on to form Ratchell with Larry Byron (ex-Steppenwolf), which enabled them to tour as support act for ELP and Bread. From then on, they formed a new band, bearing the three brothers' names. Warner signed them in 78 and God knows what a bargain they made. Their music was reminiscent of the Eagles, but in a different dimension, colourful and colourful, perfectly suited to the lyrics, most of which were written by Chris and Pat. This is a prodigious record, and we recommend that you get hold of it as soon as possible with this remastered version enhanced with lyrics and original biography.
