Walid Tawfiq, born Walid Toutounji on April 8, 1954, in Tripoli, Lebanon, is a popular Lebanese singer and actor in the Arab world. He gained fame in the 1970s after participating in the television talent show Studio El Fan, where his powerful voice and charisma captured attention.He went on to collaborate with famous composers like Baligh Hamdi and produced hit songs such as Ehna El-Tayebin and Abou El-Zoulouf. In addition to his music career, Walid has starred in several successful Arab films. His music blends classical and modern influences, and he remains one of the major stars in Arabic pop music. Walid Tawfiq continues to perform and release new albums, solidifying his place in contemporary Arabic music.
