Mosh Attack bei german Thrash Sensation! unique sound between bay area, moshcore and oldschool death meets hardcore!
~
Thrash metal attitude paired with brutal growls meet riffs that are sometimes fast, sometimes extremely groovy. Always absolutely exciting and varied. The thrash vocals of Hannes in combination with Phils' death vocals merge into a solid unit that makes up the very special sound of The Prophecy 23.
~
The result is a very unique sound that is somewhere between the Bay Area (Testament, Exodus), moshcore in the style of Municipal Waste or Anthrax with a bit of old school hardcore and death. At the same time, the band does not stop at modern influences. Bree-bree-bree, gang vocals or sometimes a jazzy part make the whole thing refreshingly different.
~
Even catchier than the debut record, the 2nd album 'Green Machine Laser Beam' hammers its way into the auditory canals like a 23kg sledgehammer. Catchy party anthems like 'No Beer (What A Mess)', 'Don't Waste Time - Get Wasted' or 'Wake Me Up For Lunch' animate the metalheads to sing along in the mosh pit as well as in the party cellar.
~
'Don't Step Back' or the moshpit-cleaner 'We Are The Pit Police' get things going. But the album also deals with topics that move the world: 'Ice Road Trucker vs. The Sun' is a tribute to the toughest men in the world and with the somewhat different love song 'Princess Of Gorleben' we get to know the romantic side of The Prophecy 23.
