More Info:

Digipak CD. Behind Coreleoni is eponym and string wizard Leo Leoni, a full-time member of the Swiss hard rock giants GOTTHARD. "Core" stands for his musical roots, his passion for powerful hard rock and the early sound of GOTTHARD on their first three studio albums. The Ticino native wanted to pay tribute to the debut album from 1992 and founded Coreleoni together with musician friends such as Igor Gianola (ex-U.D.O.) and frontman Ronnie Romero (RAINBOW, MSG), who breathed new life into the harder GOTTHARD classics on the first two albums "The Greatest Hits Part 1" and "II". On their upcoming third album, the focus is mainly on brand-new original compositions and should finally establish Coreleoni as an independent rock formation. Making his debut on it is Albanian-born Eugent Bushpepa (ex-SUNRISE, DARKOLOGY), who caught Leoni's eye anno 2018 as a participant in the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon (song "Mila"), where he came seventh. "He is a great singer and an insanely great person. He has an incredible amount of soul and emotion in his voice and his way of making music. That fascinates me a lot and I hope you out there as well," Leoni ennobles his new vocalist. The shooting stars' hotly anticipated new third longplayer will be released in 2022.
