More Info:
Following Yogee New Waves, the second artist from Roman Label, Never Young Beach, has completed their long-awaited first full album!A 5-piece band of young people from Tokyo, centered around Hosono Haruomi, with an average age of 23, who have been together for only half a year, updating the 70s J-POP sound of Happy End and Tin Pan Alley to the modern era. The 9 songs in this album are a unique mix of various scenery, smells, emotions, and everyday life, such as the smell of coffee wafting from a Showa-era coffee shop, the excitement from the arrival of spring to summer vacation, the humid midsummer heat, and the melancholy of the transition from lingering summer heat to autumn, and the humorous lyrics flow naturally. The triple guitar ensemble is extremely pleasant, and the psychedelic, exotic, and exquisite pop sound is a masterpiece full of originality that only they can achieve. The album includes three songs (M-4, 5, 9) from the self-produced album (famous album) that the band's leader Abe recorded at home before forming a band, which have been remixed and included. The masterpiece 'Natsu ga Sou Sasasete', which is full of summer languidness, is a must-listen!The engineer for the album was Ikeda Hiroshi of hmc, who has worked with Yogee New Waves, Petrolz, Odorotte Bakari no Kuni, CreepHyp, and others.
