Akira Jimbo, an innovator who continues to fascinate the world as the drummer of CASIOPEA and has established a unique style of one-man orchestra, not only as a guitarist, but also as a writer, working on the theme of 'World Heritage'. 'Pyramid', the 2-member unit of Yuji Toriyama, who has supported the Japanese music world beyond, welcomes guests and presents a neo-crossover sound that resonates with the same generation and the club generation. ! mabanua, 'Sweet Sticky Thing', a mellow groove masterpiece by the Ohio Players. Released double A-side 7 inch single containing Herbie Hancock's AOR tune 'Paradise' with KAN SANOBand mates from Keio High School, Akira Jimbo (Dr), Hirotaka Izumi (Pf), Yuji Toriyama (Gt). Each debuted in the 80's and is active in the front line of each scene. In 2003, Toriyama invited the two to go back to the old days and do an instrumental, and formed the predecessor band 'O!kay Boys'. After that, the band name was changed to 'Pyramid'. Debuted in 2005 with the 1st 'Pyramid'. After that, he released four albums and pursued a real crossover with his own stance. Although Izumi died suddenly in 2021, the remaining two decided to continue, and in January of the following year, crowdfunding was carried out for the production of a new album.
