Masterpieces selected from Nippon Columbia's extensive catalog will be reissued by Nipponophone, Nippon Columbia's global brand. Moriyama Takeo is a jazz drummer who has dominated the free jazz world with the Yamashita Yosuke Trio since the late 1960s, when the masterpiece 'Watarasee, ' full of Japanese sentiment, was first recorded, and who is loved by many fans, both old and new, for performing with the KYOTO JAZZ SEXTET in recent years. This album, recorded in 1980 with a quartet including his good friend Itabashi Fumio, is also famous for being the first to feature the masterpiece 'Watarasee, ' full of Japanese sentiment. Other highlights include the dynamic 'Exchange' and the beautiful yet sad 'Goodbye, ' and this is one of the greatest albums in the history of Japanese jazz, where you can enjoy a large-scale performance where stillness and movement are organically intertwined.
