An unprecedented debut work by Masayo Koketsu, Ushioda Yuichi, Kosuke Ochiai and Ryotaro Miyasaka.Masayo Koketsu's previous leader album, 'Band of Eden,' was a live recording that captured the frenzy of the Shinjuku PitInn, a sacred place for jazz, and this new album, set in the famous King Sekiguchidai Studio, is even more atmospheric than the previous one.Long-awaited release from Somethin' Cool, a jazz label that introduces a succession of up-and-coming and veteran Japanese musicians. The 'Queen of Indie' Masayo Kokatsu (who will change her name from Masayo Kokatsu in October 2024) shines in the music scene as a unique presence. Her previous leader album 'Band of Eden' was a live recording that captured the enthusiasm of the jazz mecca, Shinjuku PitInn, but her latest album 'Nyoinbou -Zenbu, Nagareboshi no Sei-' was recorded at one of Japan's most famous studios, King Sekiguchidai Studio, and is even more tasteful than the previous work. The gift of the four people's passion exploding was born like a supernova. A long-awaited release from Somethin' Cool, a jazz label that introduces Japan's up-and-coming musicians one after another. This work is a live recording of the four people who met for the first time, including Yuichi Shiota (guitar), Kosuke Ochiai (bass, horsehead fiddle), and Ryotaro Miyasaka (percussion), who are extremely busy day and night, without any rehearsals. Two jazz standards, 'St. Louis Blues' and 'Lonely Woman', six originals by Kokatsu, and two group improvisations. This is 'Nyoinbou's' alternative jazz that goes beyond jazz.Songlist1.
