This is music that can only be found here, born from an inner philosophy and clear sensibility. Yuji Oniki's past recordings are now available on CD. Yuji Oniki was born in New York. The three albums he released between 1988 and 2001 were highly praised and highly acclaimed by various American media. In 2005, he moved his base of operations to Japan, where he produced albums and performedlive with the support of musicians who are active in the Japanese music scene and stand out as unique individuals, including Yuji Katsui (ROVO), POP Suzuki, Ishigaki Mado (Freebo), Chinatsu Masayama (Sugar Plant), tico moon, and others. He also expanded the scope of his activities by collaborating with Tomoyo Harada and Akino Arai. Meanwhile, after 20 years, unreleased recordings of his music, in which he played most of the instruments himself, have been released on CD as 'Separate Peace,' with mastering by Uo Hosoumi, a good friend of Yuji Oniki, and artwork by Kei Takakuwa, also known as Curly Giraffe.
