More Info:

First-ever vinyl repress of Sheena's final 'lost' EMI album - originally released in 1987 only in the Canadian, Mexican and Asian markets. Remastered from the original master tapes and pressed on purple coloured vinyl with refreshed artwork including new inner sleeve. Includes the avant-pop masterpiece 'Eternity' written by Prince, plus guest appearances by Eugene Wilde, Kenny G and Steve Perry from Journey and production by Narada Michael Walden, Keith Diamond and Nick Martinelli. As part of Cherry Red's on-going reissue campaign of the star's EMI catalogue, this purple vinyl remaster of 1987's ballad-orientated 'No Sound But A Heart' finds Sheena Easton on peak vocal form, offering world class performances on tracks like the soaring power-ballad 'Still Willing To Try' and dramatic art-pop of the Prince- penned 'Eternity'. The album features production from a host of '80s pop/R&B heavyweights including Narada Michael Walden (fresh from his hot streak with Whitney and Aretha), Nick Martinelli (Loose Ends, Phyllis Hyman) and Keith Diamond (Billy Ocean). As well as cameo appearances from the likes of Steve Perry, Kenny G and Eugene Wilde (who duets on the swoonsome 'What If We Fall In Love'), this new edition also premieres the previously-unreleased 12" version of the sensual, quiet stormer 'No Ordinary Love.
