More Info:

Highly anticipated new album from the classic 80's gothic rock band. Their first album in over 30 years. Featuring original vocalist/front person Anne Marie-Hurst and featuring two unreleased tracks written by original member Gary Marx (ex-Sisters of Mercy). The highly acclaimed Ghost Dance was originally formed in 1985 by Anne Marie Hurst of Skeletal Family and Gary Marx from Sisters of Mercy. They had an instant following and spent many weeks high in the indie charts with singles and an album on the Karbon Label, leading to major tours with the likes of The Cult, The Mission, All About Eve, Wonderstuff and Killing Joke, as well as a main stage slot at Reading Rock festival in 1988. Then signing to major label Chrysalis for their 'Stop The World', album, and radio sessions for John Peel, Janice Long, and Nicky Campbell followed. The band enjoy a huge European following and have made TV appearances in Spain and Germany, as well as the Canada, and at home in the UK. They disbanded following a final tour in Germany alongside The Ramones in 1989. The new line-up with Anne Marie is going from strength to strength with their video clips now nearing 50,000 plays and well received singles and live shows, including the Special Guests slot to Fields Of The Nephilim at the sell-out TGF festival at Whitby last year (2022).
