More Info:

An important historic 1993 moment in West Coast gangster rap, which brought together the two most infamous gangs of Los Angeles. The goal was to create an outlet for gang members to release their frustrations with each other on records rather than on the streets. Actual gang members - Crips (from Compton, Watts and Long Beach) and Bloods (from Inglewood and Los Angeles) - auditioned for the group and the best MC's were chosen for the album. All proceeds from the initial 'Bangin On Wax' album sales went towards local schools and parks for the children. Now 30 years later, the original single LP changes hands for over £100, but it's now available with extra tracks which only appeared on the CD, now as a 2LP, with one red, and one blue vinyl. Limited to 1000 units!Tracklisting:A1. Gangsta Talk (Bloods & Crips)A2. Bangin' On Wax (Duet: Bloods & Crips)A3. Shuda Been B-DogA4. C - SickA5. Rip A Crab In HalfB1. Piru LoveB2. No Way OutB3.
