He began his musical career in the 1980s and became one of the most popular Raï singers in the 1990s. His album "Te Quiero" was released in 2013 and was very well received by the public and critics. It is an album of rai music that mixes Latin and pop music influences. The album contains songs of love and romance, as well as more rhythmic and danceable songs.
