More Info:

For the first time ever, The Tragically Hip's best-selling 'Yer Favourites' compilation is set for vinyl release on June 2nd, 2023. The compilation was originally released as a 2 CD set and digitally on November 8th, 2005, and has gone on to become one of the band's best-selling releases. The release of Yer Favourites on vinyl is a landmark occasion as it is now certified Diamond (1 million units sold) and has since gone onto 14 X platinum (1.4m units sold in Canada) and half a billion streams. Yer Favourites is only behind The Beatles 1 as the second biggest selling certified compilation ever in Canada. Yer Favourites will be split into two 2 LP sets, Volume #1. & Volume #2. The tracks for Yer Favourites were originally selected by the band's fans via their website. Originally debuting at number 8 on the Canadian charts in 2005, the compilation has re-entered the charts on numerous occasions including upon release of Man Machine Poem and the announcement of lead singer Gord Downie's cancer diagnosis. Following the Tragically Hip's final concert broadcast on the CBC in August of 2016 and watched by 11.7 million people, the compilation went to #1 on the Canadian albums chart and went from 182 to #2 following the death of vocalist Gord Downie in October 0f 2017. This is a must have for any casual or new fan of The Tragically Hip. Each volume will also include a 24 X 36-fold out poster.
