More Info:

Limited 'Fade to Blue' Coloured vinyl reissue of the famous 1998 double album of cover songs by artists who have influenced Metallica, including British heavy metal bands, punk rock bands, and more. The first part of the album contains then newly recorded covers, while the other part compiles earlier cover songs recorded by Metallica, including tracks from their 1987 EP "The $5.98 E.P. - Garage Days Re-Revisited" and various B-sides. The covers span a wide range of genres and eras, including British NWOBHM bands like Diamond Head and Motörhead, punk bands such as the Misfits and The Ramones, and hard rock legends like Thin Lizzy and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Some of the most notable covers on the album include "Turn the Page" (Bob Seger), "Whiskey in the Jar" (Thin Lizzy), and "Am I Evil?" (Diamond Head).
