''Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People'' is a DVD/EP by Primus, released on October 7, 2003. This album shows the return of previous drummer, Tim Alexander, who left the band in 1996. The title was inspired by a crayon-made story book written by guitarist Larry LaLonde's son, he states this in the ''Blame it On the Fish'' DVD. On the DVD ''Blame It on the Fish'', bassist Les Claypool claims that two of the five songs on the EP were written in the first 45 minutes that the band worked together.

This is the only album to feature Tim "Curveball" Wright on drums, on an early performance of Sgt. Baker. - Wikipedia
