By the Fall of 1959 GENE VINCENT's career had slowed down in the United States, although he still retained a huge following in the UK and mainland Europe. After arriving in London in December '59 he based himself in England for several years. Consequently, during 1960 and '61 his UK and US record releases differed wildly - indeed, his final Capitol LP, "Crazy Beat", was never issued in the US. This compilation comprises all of Gene's eleven UK singles between December '59 and the end of 1962, including five UK hits, 'Wild Cat', 'My Heart', 'Pistol Packin' Mama', 'She She Little Sheila', and 'I'm Going Home'. Also included are the celebrated movie version of 'Spaceship To Mars', from It's Trad, Dad, and the aforementioned "The Crazy Beat Of Gene Vincent" LP, in it's entirety.
