Creating this debut project, The Thicket exclusively used synthesizers and the theremin, and therefore there is a strong modern electronic flavour. Every track takes the listener on a winding path through unexpected stylistic changes. Ambient and aggressive, sad and hope-filled, this project defies categorization. The Thicket is a Canadian studio-based duo comprised of Andrei Poukhovski and Ivan Poukhovski-Sheremetyev.
