We here at JPR, along with our friends at GranDetroit Records, are extremely excited to announce our Record Store Day 2015 release, a brand spankin' new 7" by The Pizza Underground! The band, featuring Macaulay Culkin, Matt Colbourn, Phoebe Kreutz, Deenah Vollmer, and Austin Kilham, have made themselves a career by being the premiere pizza-themed Velvet Underground parody band in these great fifty states. This 7" brings together their first demo session (nearly nine minutes long), which was recorded at 'Mack's Kansas City' in late 2013. It contains such classics as 'Pizza Gal' (Femme Fatale), 'I'm Waiting For Delivery Man' (I'm Waiting For The Man), and 'Take A Bite of The Wild Slice' (Walk on The Wild Side). The music was released previously on cassette, but we're ecstatic to release this record on vinyl for the very first time. This is also the New York City based band's first vinyl release, and we can't wait for you to hear it!
