Robert Chini, (pronounced keeney) a native of Southern California is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter who began his musical journey as a drummer at the age of five. Although starting out as a drummer, he soon found a passion for the guitar, keyboard, and bass. Robert's talents led him to become a Motown songwriter during the 70s, and to tour/perform with many international recording artists such as the infamous England Dan and John Ford Coley, tour in various bands alongside Peaches and Herb, Tower Of Power, and Air Supply, and open for groups like Taj Mahal, Stanley Clarke (feat. Chic Corea), Atlanta Rhythm Section, and the Average White Band. Robert has also written and produced several commercials, one of which won him an Emmy award. He is currently performing as not only a solo artist, but also with many other popular musicians and singers, and operating Sound Jar Studios in North County San Diego.
