More Info:

Seven inch vinyl pressing. I, Ced's MoFunk Records debut Interpretations was a daring departure from the LA label's trademark modern funk sound. Now, label head XL Middleton steps behind the boards to rework a favorite cut from the album, "Call Me Up," giving it a vintage repackaging that MoFunksters will find more sonically recognizable, via dusty boogie drums and glimmering electric piano keys. The icing on the cake is the warm analog synth bassline and lead combo plus additional bass plucks courtesy of Josh Solomon, better known to the online world as @thecitypopbassist. The result is a tune you can step to, or perhaps roller skate to, should the opportunity present itself.
