Over the past 20 years, studies have reported that moderate to vigorous physical exercise and maintaining a healthy body weight are important factors for preventing breast cancer and may lower one's risk of developing the disease. Upon receiving a diagnosis, it's imperative to prepare the body and mind for the rigors of cancer treatment(s). The workouts do just that. Divided into three segments, a gentle warm-up, a main workout of moderate intensity, and a cool down, these workouts focus on strength, mobility, and optimal function of the upper and lower extremities.
