More Info:

Sometimes bands surprise you with decisions that are difficult to understand. That's what Mike and The Moonpies did when they changed their name to Silverada.. Because if that had meant some change in their music, it might be understandable. But that hasn't happened, even though the band claimed that a new stage was beginning here. Musically, of course not. Mike Harmeier, Omar Oyoque, Catlin Rutherford, Zachary Moulton and Taylor Englert continue doing exactly what they did and what we liked, minimal nuances aside. Here is traditional American rock. The kind that people like Steve Earle paved the way for. Their Texan soul is reflected like never before in songs like "Stubborn Son" and "Stay By My Side" is pure Willie Nelson. Perhaps only "Eagle Rare" presents some evolution in their sound, but it is so slight that it is barely noticeable. Despite that, a very good album that, yes, does not surpass that One To grow from 2021. They say in the opening of "Radio Wave" that "Americana is a myth." It will not be in their case.
