Following the success of his collaborative Snow Ghosts project, Ross Tones returns on Houndstooth in 2014 with a new EP and his highly-anticipated debut album under his solo guise, Throwing Snow. Three tracks from the forthcoming LP Mosaic are given a VIP treatment aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Vocals from Adda Kaleh are employed on both "Maera," which is reworked into a rave-fuelled anthem, and "The Tempest," which becomes a house-banger with a distinctly Eastern flavor. Meanwhile, the chimes and synths of "Linguis" are laid upon a swinging, garage-y four-to-the-floor. Pressed in a strictly-limited run of 300 12"s, cut by Matt Colton.
