More Info:

Pairing the ska-punk godfathers in the Mighty Mighty Bosstones with the pop-punk youngsters in Madcap, this split EP showcases three tracks each from the bands' 2002 releases. Between the gruff delivery, the chant-a-long choruses, and the communal attitude, the similarities between the two bands are easy to spot. The differences are fewer but equally obvious; the Bosstones are more humorous and subtle lyricists, while Madcap still thrive on blunt, youthful frustration. But in the end, both groups deliver fun, testosterone-fueled party music, and that's what makes this sampler a success.
