While he may be best known as the bassist for shoegazing greats Lush, and The Jesus and Mary Chain, Phillip King was a prolific musician prior to his commercial successes of the 90s. Between the 1981 break up of his first band, the Beautiful Losers, and joining post-punk greats the Servants, King paired up with his then girlfriend, Roxanne New, to write a song commemorating the 30th anniversary of Festival of Britain entitled Skylon. Contained here are two previously unreleased versions of the song.
"Skylon"/"Skylon (Demo)"
