More Info:

Limited 180gm colored vinyl LP pressing, housed in a gatefold sleeve. If Foghat had only given us "Slow Ride" alone, the band's place in rock history would be secure. But the band, formed in 1971 when Lonesome Dave Peverett and Roger Earl left the British blues-rock band Savoy Brown, is much more than that. Foghat is "Fool for the City" and "I Just Want to Make Love To You" plus a slew of classic albums like Foghat, Rock and Roll Outlaws, Fool For the City, Foghat LIVE, and Stone Blue. The latter was issued on Bearsville in 1978 and found the band paired up with the great Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss) for a polished blues-rock affair anchored by the hit title track and also featuring consummate covers of the blues standards "Sweet Home Chicago" and "It Hurts Me Too." Colored 180g vinyl pressing from Friday Music mastered by Joe Reagoso. The gatefold packaging also includes photos from the band's archives and new recollections on the album from co-founder/drummer Roger Earl.
