August 1978. What begins as a typical workday for a crew of maximum security inmates doing forced labor in a steel plant will prove to be fateful for all of them. After finding something extraordinary inside one of the machines, violence sparks and the prisoners begin taking hostages and blocking the entrance to the workshop.
